What are the Next Generation Science Standards?

NGSS are K–12 science content standards adopted by over 20 states, developed collaboratively to shift science education from memorizing facts to understanding and applying core ideas through scientific and engineering practices. Knobee covers NGSS for grades 6–12 across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

The three dimensions of NGSS

Disciplinary Core Ideas (DCI): essential concepts within each discipline calibrated to each grade band. Knobee flashcards and quizzes are generated against specific DCI statements.
